Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to Clyde Farm Campground!

Make Clyde Farm Campground your home away from home. To achieve this, we ask that all campers and guests abide by a few simple rules. It is our hope they will make your stay, and that of your neighbour, even more enjoyable!

• All guests must register when arriving at the campground.

• Check out time is 12:00 noon.

• Quiet time is 11:00pm to 8:00am.

• Campers are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and any guests. They are also responsible for any damage incurred by their children and any guests.

• Please check to see if there are any open fire burn restrictions in effect before starting a campfire. Fire restrictions are updated 2:00pm daily at https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/

• All children and teenagers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 10:00pm. For their safety, and in consideration of other campers, after 10:00pm children must play at their own campsite only.

• Play is not permitted around the OFFICE, FIRE PIT, WASHROOMS or SHOWER AREA. Children found playing around these areas will be warned. Children found playing in the washroom area will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for future use of the facilities.

• Children must wear helmets while riding a bicycle. Bicycles must be equipped with a working light for use after dark. Please ride slowly throughout the park and around other guests.

• We are a pet friendly campground. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.

• You are responsible to keep your site clean. Garbage is to be disposed of in the appropriate bins. No disposing of garbage in the fire pits.

• Our water supply is from an onsite well, and therefore limited. No washing vehicles. Seasonal campers can wash their trailer/camper in early spring only.

• When playing music at your campsite, please remember that your neighbours may not enjoy your music as much as you do.

• The playground area is provided for smaller children only. Please ensure your children are playing safely for their protection and the protection of other children on the playground.

• Cabins are only for guests who rent them.

• Breaking the rules and guidelines, or any unacceptable behaviour, could result in you being asked to leave and no refund will be given.
